Big Brother vs. The Law

Everyone "knows" that our media communications are being monitored and censored. What about actual surveillance in other areas ? Other than criminals and terrorists who else? It would appear that much has come out in the wash since Trump complained about being "wire tapped".
The following three cases are outstanding examples of what is known, What is frightening is what we do not know.

In her post, Sharyl Attkisson digs deeper: It looks like Obama spied on Trump, just as he spied on me   she discusses what happened to her.
Excerpt: "her computer and laptop were hacked after she did stories criticizing then-president Barack Obama.
In 2015, Attkisson filed a federal lawsuit against the Obama Justice Department (and then-Attorney General Eric Holder) for breaking into her personal computer. That lawsuit continues to this day; in fact, there’s a hearing this week.
In an op-ed for The Hill entitled “It looks like Obama did spy on Trump, just as he apparently did to me,” Attkisson said she’s alarmed that the Obama administration “weaponized” federal intelligence agencies to spy on and silence reporters"

We now have James Clapper stating that he was not aware of any FISA warrant for surveilling Trump or Manafort
Excerpt: "It was only a few months ago that James Clapper, President Obama’s director of national intelligence, issued a flat denial when asked if he knew of a FISA court order to wiretap the Trump campaign in 2016.
Now he’s abruptly changing his story, admitting that Trump could have been recorded on wiretaps.
Clapper said in an interview with CNN Wednesday night it’s possible that Trump was recorded as part of the government’s surveillance of Paul Manafort, who served briefly as Trump’s campaign manager.
Clapper continued to claim Wednesday that he wasn’t aware of a FISA warrant against Manafort.
But when asked by Don Lemon if it was “possible the president was picked up in a conversation with Paul Manafort,” Clapper said, “It’s certainly conceivable.”
“Likely?” pressed Lemon.
“I can’t say. I wouldn’t want to go there. I will say it’s possible,” Clapper said."

So is Clapper lying, was he genuinely out of the loop, or is has he been silenced? None of these  scenarios is acceptable.

We have Samantha Power requesting information that she neither needed nor had any right to./
Excerpt: "Thursday evening, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin weighed in on Samantha Power’s role in “unmasking” individuals during the final days of the Obama administration.
“This grave scandal is […] the Obama administration’s abuse of power like we’ve never seen in modern American history,” said Levin.
Fox News reported Wednesday that Power, as U.S. ambassador to the U.N., made more than 260 requests to identify Americans whose names surfaced in foreign intelligence reporting last year. In her role as ambassador, Power had no apparent intelligence-related function, making her unmasking requests highly suspect."

High Ranking CIA Agent Blows Whistle On The Deep State And Shadow Government

“The top of the shadow government is the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency,” Shipp said."
