In their overconfidence the Dems mistakenly minimized the possible impact of discovered Russian hacking into the DNC, and who knows what else, as well as the Wikileaks revelations. The chief executive was so confident that Hillary would win that he did next to nothing about the intrusions and exposures that were so damaging to her image. They completely failed to read the mood of the nation and the impact that Trump was having. He simply spoke to people's concerns; whereas, the Dems were perceived to be Elitist.
