THE BODY POLITICS As I wake up today sleepy eyed, needing coffee, a shower and a good stretch for my aches & pains, it reminds me that the human body & that of a culture or society are very much the same thing....We develop immunities to things, we develop tolerances to illnesses, drugs....We also get wore down & beat up by the ravages of time.....We lose our way, we lose our sense of direction, of well being & we become confused....or slower... To me those are the reasons that we not only reproduce but why we constantly need in this world NEW Ideas, Fresh Approaches, the ability to change, adapt or evolve along with the ability to be nimble in our actions...That however is NOT the same thing as "reinventing the wheel," 'the same old wine in a brand new bottle," or conversely NEW ways of Spinning Lies, Cons & Propaganda....Wasn't it EINSTEIN that said,"the definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over...
