HOPE & FAITH AREN'T ENOUGH

 

I'm not one that looks at my yesterdays, my past, our past or our history (personal or) & sees it a Perfect Poetry in Motion, because it was not, nor was it intended to be...I grew up apparently in a ERA that was Grounded in Reality not Fantasy,Fiction, Illusion or Delusions..The reality in those years was "Simplistic" in its approach to everything...If you Wanted something you had to earn it to get it...That was True with everything...If you wanted to be Smart you dad to Study! If you wanted to be Wise you had to Learn Life's Lessons! Same could be said about being Wealthy...But here is part of the Difference  between Today's World & Yesterdays; WEALTH was not Just considered a "Material Thing" like it is today...

For the Most part "Baby Boomers"  grew up in a world where the "Family Unit" was still alive, well & thriving...My Mother was a "Stay At Home Mom" & she basically Raised our Family...I had Two other Brothers , a Sister & a Grandmother living under the same "Farmhouse Roof!" & my Father worked a Full Time Job as well as Tending the Farm, the Cows, Chickens & a couple of Horses...We either Grew or Raised MUCH of our own food...My Mother was a Very Good Seamstress & she sewed a lot of our clothes as well as mending them...

Another thing that was different then from today's World is we were "Church Goers" & we were there almost every time the doors were open! There were Few MEGA CHURCHES in those days so Money was Never a Focus...The Congregations were mostly other Farmers, Ranchers or Cattlemen...No Silk Suits, very few ties & no Fancy Cars...Old Cars & Trucks were what you saw in the parking lot day in & day out...We never Locked our Doors at home, now did any of the others; we were Dirt Poor & we Honestly had Nothing of Material Value worth STEALING...The only real Threat we ever saw around the House or Farm was Wolves, Coyotes, Chicken Snakes, Rattle Snakes , Copperheads or Water Moccasins...If I've made my point correctly it was a 'Very Simple Life"...But it was a Hard Life by today's standards ....No Fancy Cars, No Fancy Houses, No Air Conditioning or for lack of a better word "No Razzle Dazzle "  Television was NOT 24/7 in those days...And there was little if any "Propaganda!"

Now we did have a Few Worldly Fears in those days, there was the Cuba Missile Crisis, the Korean War, Germany being Split by the "Berlin Wall" , the Vietnam War Started ,KHRUSHCHEV'S Speech at the UN & then John F. Kennedy being Assassinated in Dallas...But if you know your History there has Never been a Time Of Peace that wasn't Played into a Fear Song of some sort...Let's look at it through a "Prism Of Family"...My Father & Mother sacrificed & gave their all to Raise Our Family...The Same type of Ordinary people also Settled this Land we call America & Fought in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI, WWII & the other Wars I've already Mentioned...And from what I see in the Universities, Schools, Businesses & our Governments (Local, State & Federal) is some of the "Most Ungrateful Sorry Bastards" this World has Ever Seen or Witnessed...

Nor mind you, none  of our Leaders were Perfect..They just like you or me were Flawed & had their own Problems...But did that STOP them from Doing or Trying to Do the Right Thing? No it did not....It's far to easy & convenient to be a CRITIC! Didn't some other man say something to the effect; "Whoever that hasn't Sinned, let them Throw the First Stone!" I realize I'm wasting my time here but Liberalism, Narcissism has almost a Perfect Record when it comes to "GETTING IT ALL WRONG" but why is it or that so?

If you raise a Generation to become Thoughtless, Mindless, Hateful, Selfish & Ignorant what you've Created is the "Prerequisite Needed" for a TRUE "Totalitarian Socialist Communist Welfare Police State...For the Oligarchs it's "Hedonism" at it's finest...Nothing is "Taboo" anymore with this kind of Evil Lurking...You know it's one thing to take, steal or strip away a man or a woman from All Material things but, when you strip away the Mind , Spirit & Soul & enslave those People, Children to Fantasies,Perversions, Pedophilia...You see there is NOT ENOUGH MIND Left to Resist...This is Worse than Water Torture, Whips & Fire can do...If you are too STUPID to RUN what good is life then...It's Meaningless at that point...

Communism has been alive in America for Centuries, but the last 100 years & especially the last 50 years has given us what we see, hear, taste & witness with every breath we take...We should QUESTION Everything & Everyone but we don't & won't, at least I fear! We Need a New direction & a Return to What is Right & What Works...It does not start with the "Other Guy" it starts with us...Look inside yourself & look at this World & then ask yourself this ; did I help create this problem? We have more POWER than we realize but we have NEVER held our Vision-less Corrupt Leaders Accountable for Anything..We just collectively "Roll Our Eyes" & say that's just the way it goes & Walk Away..

AMERICA is Dying & its time to stop denying it & that is the 1st Step in Fixing it..."Hope & Faith Aren't Enough" either but it's a necessity ...
