Ted Cruz and the Manipulation for the Article V Convention

A person who will lie - cover up - ignore - his true status - not being a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN in order to run a CON JOB on the American voter will lie about other things as well. Keep that in mind. The longer Cruz ignores this FACT the more I distrust him. He is NO DIFFERENT THAN OBAMA in that respect.

Ted Cruz and the Manipulation for the Article V Convention

Many conservatives are lobbying for an Article V Convention, or a Con-Con (short for Constitutional Convention). Even well-known conservative talk radio hosts are on board, pushing for it to solve many of the problems we face as a nation. What you might not know is that conservatives/constitutionalists/the right weren’t the first to call for one. In fact, the left called for it first50 years ago. It’s taken them decades, but they’ve finally succeeded in manipulating some of the Right into thinking it was their idea. How did they manage this? By using the tactics of their hero, Saul Alinsky.

Publius-Huldah, a fantastic Constitutional blog, outlines the Alinsky tactics being used on America:

Saul Alinsky allegedly said in Rules for Radicals that any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future.

Ever since the Ford & Rockefeller Foundations, some 50 years ago, came up with the Constitution for the New States of America, the left has been pushing for an Art. V convention so that they can impose a new Constitution. The conservatives defeated these periodic pushes for a convention. So this time, the left changed tactics: Now they are marketing it to appeal to conservatives. They are telling conservatives a convention is THE ONLY WAY to rein in the federal government.

And they are telling conservatives that elections and nullification – THE REMEDIES OUR FRAMERS ACTUALLY ADVISED – don’t work. (For a detailed

It’s a classic tacticmake the other side think it was their idea. Sadly, too many conservatives have bought into the folly that an Article V convention is the best hope we have.

Even more disturbing is that one of the most-loved Presidential candidates for the GOP is not only on board with it, but has very close ties to some of the more nefarious plans for the convention. Ted Cruz tweeted in June:

Meanwhile, his wife Heidi, “ was on the CFR Task Force to set up this merging of Canada, the US, and Mexico. It sets up a Parliament over the 3 countries. You can read the 2005 CFR (Council for Foreign Relations) Report on setting up the North American Union HERE.”

Why is a supposedly Constitutional candidate pushing for something that the Left wants so badly? Why was his wife involved in setting up the North American Union? As long as we’re at it, why is a supposedly Constitutional candidate in favor of expanding federal gun background checks? Why is he in favor of the TransPacific Partnership, otherwise known as Obamatrade? And, in case you weren’t aware, he was also in favor of the very things that many readers of this blog are consistently trying to thwart: government intrusion into your every move and every thought. Why does a supposedly Constitutional candidate do these things?

Perhaps these questions can be answered by looking at the very reason why only natural born citizens can be Presidentforeign influence. As much as conservatives refuse to believe it or even discuss it, Ted Cruz is not a natural born citizen as outlined by the Constitution. (For a very detailed and vetted/sourced explanation, read this article.)

Don’t even bother with the tired old argument that he’s the”closest thing we have,” or that “no candidate is perfect.” We’re in this mess because we have been complacent, we’ve contented ourselves with “the lesser evil,” the “good enough.” Now, we are at a point where no election on earth can stop the runaway train we’re on. A Constitutional Convention is NOT the answer.
Educate yourself. Study Cruz’ positions on Constitutional issues. Ask yourself why he would support a Constitutional Convention. In fact, ask yourself why several levels down. If you can still support Cruzor any other pseudo-Constitutional candidate after that, then you might want to ask yourself if you really support liberty at all.
