What is a true and genuine American Patriot; what are the components?
An American patriot would deeply love our country and faithfully participate in the political process, which requires study to become knowledgeable and well-informed to make the best choices that conform to our constitutional boundaries. Holding to the standards established by the Declaration and Constitution is a really important part of it because our identity as a people and nation ...was formed and developed from them. All of our American values were birthed from our Biblical foundation which permeated all aspects of society from the education and the arts to law and government, reaching from the lowest economic places to the highest levels of achievement and everything in between.
It was the air we all breathed and it made this country so different from all other places and it bound us together as a people. We might be rich, we might be poor, but achievement in any area of life by anyone was celebrated and served to show others that it could be done. We were unashamed to have heroes, to read about them, tell their stories, and learn from their lives. And for many years so many patriots were birthed out of this American soil, decent, strong, brave and true patriots who sacrificially served out of love and duty."
We're all grateful for the patriots we've been privileged to know.

Only one thing... us.... the American Patriots! I am the founder of this organization, Americans United Against Tyranny. We have a plan to empower American Patriots and give them the ability to be part of a collective voice that is demanding an end to the corruption, an end to the irresponsibility, and an end to the tyranny growing in our Federal Government.
We are building a national network and 'union' of Patriots and activist Patriot groups. We are also building a unique Social Networking website that will give all those that love our Constitution and our American Ideals of Liberty and Justice, tools and an environment that will join them with others in their community and give them power to change our governments from the local level, to the State, to the Federal Government. It is time for a peaceful revolution in America.
It is time to begin a revolution that restores America both ideologically and culturally. The American Patriots are ready for change and Americans United Against Tyranny is providing the tools and the organization that will give them the vehicle to make that change happen. THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE
Why not hurl insults at people you don't agree with?
Why not argue points you're not absolutely certain are valid. Why keep your words from being hyperbolic and exaggerated?

There's a good reason and it has to do with Freedom. My grandfather was William Irvin Wilks and he was known in his community as being an absolutely honest man.
He could go to the general store and get whatever he needed on credit giving nothing more than a handshake and his word. If he said he'd pay in 3 months... he paid in 3 months. He believed and said, 'All a man has is his word... if he loses that he loses everything.' But my grandfather's honesty and his character went beyond his ability to get credit without a signature.
He was considered to be so honest and so fair that people in his community would come to him to settle disputes. They knew that his judgment was honest, fair and wise... so he had the confidence of his community. ON this page I get into all sorts of discussions with people on the topics that matter to patriots. I never get angry with people.. I never attack people.. I never insult people.. or I try not to, but still tell them the truth. I have no ambition driven by ego. The last thing I want to do is to hurt anyone.
But I am going to tell the truth and I'm going to say it in as loving a way as I possibly can. The reason why we have to be honest is so people will believe us. The reason we have to be fair is so others will trust us. The reason we have to be generous and humble and gracious and loving is because to do otherwise means you can't be free.
Your lies will trap you. Your ego will betray you and make you look like a fool. Your hatred will make everything you say empty and meaningless. Evil is actually powerless in principle.
That's why evil always resorts to lies and violence. IF we will save America... we will do it by being good.. by being humble and honest and brave in all of those things. And here's a secret... until the vast majority of Americans understand in the depths of their being the truth of this and are committed to it America will not be saved.
