Preamble:
We the People of the United States in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity do ordain and establish this Constitution of the United States of America. Article 1 legislative department: Section 1” Congress legislative powers vested: All legislative powers herein granted (by the people) shall be vested in a congress of the United States which shall consist of a senate and a house of representatives (for the people)
United States Constitution Article
1 section 9:
Powers forbidden to the United States:
1. through 6. 1. Congress is prohibited the migration or importation of such persons as any of the states now existing shall think proper to admit shall not be prohibited by congress.
2. The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended unless in the cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it.
3. No bill of attainder or expost facto law shall be passed.
4. No capitation or other direct tax shall be laid unless in proportion to the census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken.
5. No tax or duty shall be laid on articles exported from any state.
6. No preference shall be given by any regulation of commerce or revenue to the ports of one State over those of another: nor shall vessels bound to or from one State be obligated to enter, clear or pay duties in another.

Clearly the Federal Government has overstepped their power to serve the people. It is our duty to put in power the first line of the Declaration of Independence.
