Ongoing Soft Jihad In Our Public Schools

 Students were instructed to write the “Shahada” – “There is no God but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Students also learned the five pillars of Islam.

There is a great deal of difference between teaching the historical rise of a religion with its political/military effects and the teaching of its actual tenets.

Concerns regarding Islamic indoctrination in our public schools go back to post 9/11. Cinnamon Stillwell raised the issue in an excellent article written in 2008 with several examples of the soft jihad approach starting in American schools. Obviously, this has been going for a long time and has not been publicized by the MSM but only in the alternate news.
 
The following is but a brief overview. There is a plethora of information on the subject and the following articles also contain many links.

In 2013 Joseph Klein , wrote
"The Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is pressuring public schools in this country to make special accommodations for Muslim students and to deny comparable accommodations for students of other faiths.

For example, CAIR's instructional material for teachers entitled "An Educator's Guide to Islamic Religious Practices" advises schools to permit Muslim students who wish to attend Friday congregational worship (known as Jum'ah) to "request a temporary release from school."

In Michigan, CAIR went beyond dispensing general advice from its guidebook. In April, 2013, it pushed for public schools in Dearborn, Michigan to accommodate Muslim students who wish to comfortably pray on school grounds and to allow Muslim students to leave early on Fridays for Jumu'ah prayers.

In her disturbing 2014 article 'One Nation Under Allah': The Islamization of American Public Schools Pam Geller discusses what happened in the UK and is now burgeoning in the U.S.

"Endless concessions and accommodations to Islamic demands only give way to more demands for even more Islam, as shown in the recent blockbuster revelations of an Islamic takeover of UK public schools. What is less well known is the same kinds of things are happening here in the United States....

The same kinds of things are happening here in America, but when my colleagues and I warn about them, we are called conspiracy theorists. Well, there is conspiracy theory and conspiracy fact. And we do see attempts to further the Islamization of the classroom here, in innumerable large and small ways, pushed by both Muslims and non-Muslims. In 2015, Todd Starnes' article 'There is no God but Allah'? School accused of Islamic indoctrination
discussed the anger Tennessee parents voiced over what was clearly indoctrination.
"Maury County, Tennessee is in the heart of the Bible Belt. So it’s understandable why the local church ladies got all shook up when they discovered that school children had been forced to declare, “There is no God but Allah.”

Seventh graders at Spring Hill Middle School spent three weeks covering Islam in a Social Studies class – enraging some parents who say the lessons crossed the line into indoctrination and proselytization." continue

SOUTH CAROLINA: Parents outraged that sixth grade students are being force fed Islam in a public school classroom
"In worksheets provided to Live 5 News, sixth graders at Alston Middle School were asked to fill in blanks about Islam and match up statements from the Quran with the five pillars of the religion....

Live5News The mom says she is infuriated and that others agree with her. “Our concern is that if the need permission to teach sexual education, they should be getting permission to teach religious values (which go against the American Constitution),” she said."
