In his article, The Democrats’ Second Secession & America’s New Civil War David Horowitz discusses Senator Kamala Harris's commencement speech at Howard University in which she urged Graduates to stand behind the Trump resistances. This was not a commencement speech, it was a clear cut call to arms!
Excerpts: “...Graduates, indeed we have a fight ahead. This is a fight to define what kind of country we are, and it’s a fight to determine what country we will be.”
Ignore for a moment the impropriety of addressing a class of students as though they were Democratic Party operatives. Focus instead on the statement itself. The call “to define what kind of country we are” is an ominous agenda for America. Compared to other nations, America is absolutely unique in one regard: it is a country defined in its creation... America was created by peoples of diverse origins and ethnicities and on principles that were universal. The American union was forged in a set of founding documents that insisted on the equality of citizens – regardless of origins. The idea that creates the identity “American” is summarized in America’s official motto: e pluribus unum – out of many, one...
Identity politics is, in fact, the antithesis of the American idea. It is a reversion to tribal loyalties. It regards diverse origins – colors, ethnicities, genders and classes - as primary, and proposes a hierarchy of privilege based on them, which it justifies as a reversal of past oppressions. entire post
In his following post A War of Cultures Allan Massie gives an interesting perspective regarding the relationship between the war on terrorism in the Middle East and Islamist violence on the domestic front.

We have had years of military victories and are still losing the war.

Yet, in the wider sense, this victory is insignificant. It doesn’t, and won’t, secure the peace and freedom from terror that we long for. The limitations of the language of strength and power are all too evident...
Terrorist groups require some degree of support from the civilian population and the ability to attract new recruits to replace members killed or arrested. Without both they can be extinguished: Examples are the Italian Red Brigades and the Baader-Meinhof Red Army Faction in West Germany. The IRA and the Basque terrorists failed partly because they had insufficient popular support and came to accept that their political aims could not be achieved by terrorism and violence.
It was important, however, that ultimately it was possible to negotiate with the IRA, possible because some common ground existed.
There is no such common ground to be found with Islamist terrorism, therefore no basis for negotiation.... (emphasis mine)
It is futile to seek economic reasons for those who complete that journey. The Manchester bomber, Salman Abedi, was well educated... was sufficiently well-off to take skiing holidays. According to research carried out on behalf of the World Bank, a majority of Western recruits to ISIS had a university education.
I repeat: It’s a war of cultures, and if it is to be won it will be won in Europe, Britain, the USA, and Canada, not in the Middle East. Meanwhile Western governments cozy up to Saudi Arabia regardless of the fact that the Saudis finance the Wahhabist mosques where the duty of jihad is preached (emphasis mine ). While some are definitely in collusion with terrorism, far too many are useful idiots who have been indoctrinated against any form of discrimination. How could anyone with half a brain view opposition to murder by Allah Akbar screaming thugs and terrorist acts as "racism" or any other form of a so called discriminatory ism which resides in the sacred text of the Leftist Mantra?

The compassion, kindness, love, strength and oneness that you’ve shown one another this past week is the exact opposite of the heinous intentions it must take to pull off something as evil as what happened… We will not quit or operate in fear. We won’t let this divide us. We won’t let hate win.”Cole calls these sentiments “the essence of counterinsurgency.” In fact, they are the essence of submission. (emphasis mine)

In her article The Left’s Unilateral Suicide Pact Heather Mac Donald discusses the brain dead commitment by EU leaders and their minions to open borders to all immigrants no matter what the consequences may be. Is such "commitment" outright treachery and/or treason?

Will America be next? God forbid we should enact a travel ban on nations with a large number of Jihadis who can easily come into our Nation along with legitimate refugees, note the word "refugees", not migrants!
