McAuliffe's "Facts" on gun related fatalities and the perverse Democrat blame game

On the surface, McAuliffe's Statement “We lose 93 million Americans a day to gun violence" was a jaw dropper, which then morphed into a real knee slapper.
However, there is an insidious underlying current regarding his statement--the lack of any reaction from the MSM, which chose not even to poke fun at his clearly off the wall statement. Perhaps it is a lack of a sense of humor by left leaning pundits and writers? His hilarious misstatement was merely glossed over in order to drumbeat the predictable and stale anti-gun narrative that if only all firearms were eliminated, blah, blah, blah.
Gosh, what about deaths and severe injuries by knives, baseball bats, axes, etc., oops wait, they don't fit the vignette.
There is a new level of hatred and violence in the nation. However blaming guns is irrational. Guns are not self activating, marching in the streets, calling for chaos, and preaching hate.
The hatred and vitriol is leftist, encouraged by, and funded by elitist sugar daddies. The Democrat leadership chooses not to condemn the money boys and the vile climate fostered by their support. Rather, the Dem leadership resorts to its time honored tactic, the blame game and proceeds to accuse Trump and all Republicans of fostering a hate filled atmosphere.
Has either Trump or any GOP legislator called for the hunting down and killing of all Democrats? Are Conservatives the ones Hell bent on shutting down free speech on college campuses? Were Trump supporters the ones who started engaging in thuggery against political opponents at various rallies?
However, we must blame the Trump supporters for starting to defend themselves, right?
The rational segment of the electorate is sick of the endless leftist vituperation and destructive rampaging. However, make no mistake, non-leftists will defend themselves from verbal and physical attacks against the anarchists and useful idiots who are at the beck and call of their elitist masters.
It' is going to get really ugly.

Dem Governor’s Figures on Gun Violence Means US Devoid of People in 3 ½ Days
D JollyJune 22, 2017
Last week, the nation was shocked with news of the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise and several others at a baseball field. Shooting took place as Republican members of Congress were practicing for their annual charity fundraising baseball game against the Democrats. The shooter, identified as James Hodgkinson was an ardent Bernie Sanders supporter and socialist. Just days before the shooting, Sanders called for his supporters, also socialists, to take over the Democratic Party, and Hodgkinson evidently took him up on that as he wanted to kill Republicans.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) was also at the baseball practice when the shooting occurred and he said he felt helpless and that he wants to start carrying a gun with him at all times. He is introducing a bill that would allow federal lawmakers to carry firearms with them while conducting official business.

In the wake of the shooting, a number of left-wing radicals have called for more shootings of Republicans. One idiot tweeted ‘Hunt Republicans’ and other idiots posted hit lists of Republican lawmakers. At the top of some of those hit lists was none other than President Donald Trump. They fail to realize that killing Trump will still not put Hillary Clinton in the White House, but it would elevate Vice-President Mike Pence to the presidency, and I don’t think they want that either.

To no surprise, left-wing liberals, progressives and socialists are using the shooting of Rep. Scalise as their latest platform to promote their anti-American agenda to disarm the American people. Many anti-gun liberals are turning to the same old rhetoric they always use, most of which has been totally debunked and proven false.

One of their tried and true pieces of bogus rhetoric is that guns cause violence. Whenever I hear that argument, I ask the liberal if they really believe that guns have the ability to control people’s minds. Generally, they try to say that without a gun, many people would not hurt or kill other people and that violence would drop. I reply by asking them about the number of people killed with knives, hammers, baseball bats, cars, poison and many other objects used for assaults. I also like to ask them why they don’t try to ban alcohol or tobacco products, both of which lead to more deaths and health issues than guns do. Yep, you guessed it, conversation over.

However, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, has come up a new anti-gun fact that is by far the most outrageous anyone has ever spoken about gun violence. His statement far exceeds the absurd and ridiculous statements that both Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters and even Donald Trump have ever uttered. In an interview about the Virginia shooting, McAuliffe stated:

“We lose 93 million Americans a day to gun violence. I’ve long talked about this. Background checks, shutting down gun show loopholes. That’s not for today’s discussion, but it’s not just about politicians. We worry about this every day for all of our citizens.”

According to Census.gov, there are only 325,282,000 people in the United States. If McAuliffe is right in his figures that 93 million Americans die each day from guns, America would be completely devoid of people in only 3.5 days.

You want to know what’s really scary about McAuliffe’s outrageous claim? Some political sources have been touting McAuliffe as one of the top prospects for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Can you imagine McAuliffe running for president? And liberals attack Trump for his wild statements, but where has the media been in regard to his outrageous statement? They’ve been silent, of course, protecting their own.
