In Case You Missed This: US Christian Churches Have Been Under Constant Islamist Attacks

Graffiti on a Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas reads “Islam or Die” (OCT 2016)
The war has been on American soil for much longer than we realize. For a list of Islamic terrorist onslaughts in the U.S. since 1972, go here.

Christianity and its Churches have been bloodied in the Middle East for decades. However what has been happening on U.S. soil has been largely ignored by the MSM. Keeping the citizenry in the dark on such matters borders on treachery.

The following posts shed some light on the issue but in reality only scratch the surface:

US Christian Churches under constant threat.:

The Christian churches in the USA are under constant attack, but ignored by major media, government.

Christian churches in the US are constantly under attack, but the US government, politicians and major media ignore them while focusing on such incidents in India and elsewhere.

A survey of local media for a random period of a month between Thanksgiving Day, November 26, and Christmas that was conducted by IANS found that there were reports of at least 45 attacks on Christian churches, ranging from beheading or removal of sacred statues to shooting at churches. Except for five, none of these made it into the major national media. The New York Times covered only a string of attacks on five nativity scenes around Christmas time. The nativity scenes display statues showing the birth of Jesus in a farmshed for animals after his parents could not find a place in Bethlehem’s inns.

“The American media do not cover vandalism in Christian churches the way they do vandalism in Islamic mosques,” William Donohue, the president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, said.

“Much of the bias is a function of political correctness: there is more sensitivity in the media to anti-Muslim bigotry than there is to anti-Christian bigotry. This is also the fruit of multiculturalism in the schools where Islam is elevated and Christianity is denigrated.”

While the incidents during the period were confined to property damages, in two cases the attacks took on an ominous turn. In Tennessee, two churches were shot at during the Thanksgiving weekend. No one was injured but the buildings’ windows were damaged.

The victimised churches belonged to various denominations like the Roman Catholic, dissident Catholic, mainstream Protestant and Fundamentalist, and racially diverse with some predominantly black and others white. Entire Article:

Two Incidents of Islamist Attacks In U.S.

 In Texas:
American pastors need to be aware their churches are significant targets. See other related articles here and here.

UTT offers this important guidance for pastors of churches of all denominations:
Understand the real threat the U.S. Islamic Movement poses and educate your flock.

Stop conducting “interfaith outreach” with Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas organizations like ISNA, ICNA, CAIR, MAS and others. They are part of the enemy’s program.

Encourage parishioners who are properly trained to carry firearms to do so, and make sure it is known publicly. Consider posting a sign in front of the church saying something like “The disciples carried weapons and Jesus was okay with it, so we are too.” This would be a tremendous deterrent.

Put together a team of active or former law enforcement officers, military, or other trained individuals from the church, and build a security team. UTT offers training for security teams and can help as needed.

Train the members of your church on how to respond to someone in the church who may be conducting pre-operation surveillance and what to do if an attack happens, so they can be prepared not scared.

In all of this, UTT stands ready to help. Reach out to us at www.UnderstandingtheThreat.com.

In California:
As Father Josiah Trenham prepared to read the Gospel, several parishioners discreetly scooped up their babies, retreated up the aisles of St. Andrew Orthodox Church and out into the spring air, so as not to allow the crying of little ones to disturb the divine liturgy.

The time-honored tradition was shattered when a car passed by the Riverside, Calif., church, slowing down as the front passenger leaned out of his window and bellowed menacingly through a bullhorn, according to witnesses.

“Allahu Akbar!” the unidentified man repeated several times as the unnerved parents drew their infants close and exchanged worried glances.

We cannot follow in Europe's footsteps along the path of denial. These threats are serious.
