As I turn & look around at Empty Faces, with Eyes that have no Vision of a Tomorrow, Ears that either deny what they hear or they are lost in the Confusion & Touch (feelings) that only allows for their own needs....And then I wonder , but for a moment about how we got here.....Who were their Teachers & did they even have the Capacity to Learn ? I for the most part have my doubts.....We learn our BEHAVIOR, whether that be , "Good, Bad or Ugly"...As a Relic of the Past (thank God) I grew up with a GOOD LOVING FAMILY......Those were simple days, simple times & most of the Problems we Faced , were not only Self-Contained but Self-Made...That is to say using a timeless old cliche, "We made the bed we slept in"....And "IF" the problem was going to be Addressed & Fixed  we had the "Bite The Bullet" own up to it & "DO IT OURSELVES"...No one was going to FIX it for us.....It was mostly a "Non-Interventionist" world.....We mostly Minded our "Own Business" .....But in those days the 'Family Unit" was till intact, Friendships were real & mostly extensions of the Family....Let me also add this "Christianity & the Church" wasn't a Big Mega-Million Dollar Industry.....

In those Days a "Successful Life" wasn't measured by your  Material Wealth, your Home, your Cars or the TOYS that you HOARDED....The Successful Life in those years was measured by Knowledge, Lessons, bettering oneself , the True Meaning of Love & Kindness.....What you Gave is what you Received.....Period.....Knowledge, Achievement & Love were a Product you had to Work for.....It didn't come from a "Presidential Edict" from Washington...I am bewildered at the Thought that Government & their TOOLS think they can Mandate, Kindness, Respect, Feelings, Emotions ( exclude Hate, they own that one) or Love?  And How or Why do they getaway With it.....The answer should be Obvious, by "SELLING FEAR".....But who is that holds them "Accountable" for their Failures ? Who is it that is supposed to give the Credit when they get it Right ( that's a RARE One) ? In both cases, the People are "Supposed Too"...

What am I missing here ? Beyond the FACT , we took our eyes off of what was going in & "vicariously" we Allowed "Mediocrity" to rein or rule ? We lowered our Standards, we seemingly now accept Corruption & Chicanery as the NORM? Why ? Is it Fear or is it because we don't care anymore? Has this just become a "Comfortably Numb" World...IMO is has.....I read the Books by Ayn Rand, Orwell & Huxley.....I was a Fairly good student at History...Admitting I come from a Non-Conformist View, but if a Farm Boy, Small Town, Musician, College Educated Remodeler from TEXAS can see it, I'm sorry I just don't understand why OTHERS Can't......Maybe it's "Won't"

This Government is NOT Here to solve your problems, they are not Here to help you & they are not your Friend, your Family nor or they the Messiahs or Gods they Portray themselves as being, day in & day out....They will take & Tax, Steal & Extort your LAST Breath you take in this life (if you can call this life or living)....How many times have you heard someone say , as it pertains to CORRUPTION, "That's Just The Way they Are" & "They'll Never Change"....Might I remind you, as you say, mutter & ENUNCIATE those terms, verbs, adjectives or nouns or pronouns....you admitted or accepted DEFEAT.....And that is the Problem, as I see it....And the Parasites in Washington Knows that & Counts on it.....Why shouldn't; they.....They get reelected time after time after time.....By Fools...like you or me....

WASHINGTON is not Going to Fix itself....One Person elected as the "New Crime Boss" won't cure it either......The Whole city is Contaminated & Deadly.....One Person might buy us time, maybe....but one BITCH Hillary will finish off what little chance we had to right this ship.....So as you just go about your Merry Day, Merry Way & take your Happy Pills, Drink a Beer & Drown yourself in a FANTASY ...Remember the CHOICES are/were ours & the STATUS QUO isn't cutting it.....This Socialist Sinking Ship many of us Loved is dying because we Failed as People....To TAKE Responsibility for the DISEASE called GOVERNMENT....I would say we deserved better , but maybe "We Are Reaping What We Sowed?" Answer that one for yourself....
